REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
This is ideal for anyone involved in catering including 'high risk' areas (e.g nurseries and care homes), food retailing, food processing including restaurants, hotels and bars and other activities where a sound knowledge of food hygiene is necessary. This is a one day course that has a multiple choice exam.

REHIS HACCP for Caterers
The REHIS HACCP for Caterers course is designed for people who are responsible for the development and maintenance of a permanent food safety management procedure, or procedures based on HACCP principles. It will give you the knowledge and understanding to introduce CookSafe (a HACCP based food safety assurance system) into a catering business.
What You Need:
You must hold a current REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent) gained within the last five years
Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training
This is a presentation that will train employees on fire safety awareness in the workplace, typical fire hazards, fire prevention, the action to be taken if they discover a fire, the importance of means of escape and fire plan, classification of fires and different types of fire extinguishers. The presentation would last 1hr 30 minutes and is suitable for employee induction, retrospective employee training and general refresher training. (max 15 people per session)
Practical Fire Extinguisher Training
This would include the same content as the Basic Fire Safety Awareness course, but with the added benefit of employees practically using and handling fire extinguishers, including AFFF Foam, Carbon Dioxide and Water.
This gives staff the required confidence and competence in the event that they need to use a fire extinguisher. Total course time 2 hours.
Fire Marshall Training
This would include the same content as both the Basic Fire Safety Awareness and Practical Fire Extinguisher Training, but with added focus on evacuation strategies, Fire Marshal duties and responsibilities in the event of a fire and weekly checklists to be completed. This course lasts approximately 3 hours and would satisfy the need for this type of additional instruction as part of your Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Policy.
BIIAB Scottish Certificate for Licensed Premises Staff
